  2. Navigate to Extension Features.
  3. In the search bar, type flex and click Search.
  4. Select the relevant option/button and click it. Once a successful repair message is displayed, attempt to open the software.

  2. Run the downloaded tool as an administrator (right-click and select “Run as administrator”).
  3. When prompted, enter the Autodesk software version (e.g., 2024) and press Enter.
  4. Scroll through the list to find the name of the problematic software.
  5. Click Install.
    • Note: It is recommended to temporarily disable any antivirus software before running this tool.

Post-Resolution Best Practice

After successfully resolving the issue and opening the problematic software:

  1. If you restart your computer, do not immediately launch any Autodesk applications. Allow a brief period (e.g., a few minutes) after Windows starts up before attempting to open Autodesk software. This can help prevent the Flexnet error from recurring.
